The Palmist says:
Ps 118:24 (NIV)
24This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Most of us have heard or read this verse in the book of Psalms. I have heard many sermons and songs (Especially during Praise and worship time during my Christian Charismatic experience), around this wonderful theme and verse. I think it points to a rich and deep truth in that we have the power to co-create with God in our journey of life one day at a time. Forming our experience the way I believe it was intended to be formed. I believe that once we remove the Theology of separation between each other and of God, we can begin to see that we are very much in creative control of the lives we have been given.
We can create or co-create with God whom I believe has never been separate from us, “If you have seen me [Jesus], you have seen the Father, as I and the Farther are one” or “ I and My Father are one” Father of course is a metaphor of the relationship that we desire to have with the creator. Jesus in this statement makes it clear that we are one with the Father and thus, can create with intention the experiences and direction of our lives without the myth of separation and fear based control that our religions often tie us too.
I would like to introduce to you a process that has worked for me and others that I have had the honor of sharing with. Using the Big Mind Process (See Big Mind Blog) prior to starting my day and as part of my daily practice, I do the following. It only takes about ten minutes, but results in wonderful peace (Where there is Nothing Missing and Nothing Broken) driven days:
1. First I allow, the spirit, energy, feeling (Whatever you want to call it) of peace to flood over me, it’s always there; you just need to be aware and know that it is. This is the Self (My spirit in Christian Speak) “Being” Connected to the God Source
2. Then, I call on the voice of Creative Intention or Big Mind and Big heart (See the Big Mind Process). If you were to have a dialog with this voice, you will find out that this voice is more about being connected to the Source of Intention or God with the focus on creation. Trust me, it’s ok and you will see that it works.
3. Then, I visualize, focus, image or feel (Again, whatever you want to call it, it’s about experiencing and feeling it) the kind of day I want to have and experiencing it before it occurs, allowing life or the God System to work out the details.
4. Next, I see the End from the Beginning, in other words, at the end of this day, how do I want to feel? It’s like looking back on the day that has not occurred yet and declaring, “Wow, Today was a great day”
5. Finally, I call on the voice or spirit of Gratitude and Appreciation and declare with a grateful heart what I’m grateful and appreciative of and for, to include the day that I just created.
That’s it. It’s a simple, but effective process. You will begin to see things work out. How random acts of kindness will occur, that you will have many peaceful and less stressful days by allowing Life to do what God intended to do – produce experiences of Joy, Love and Peace and yes, Prosperity. It’s all up to you!
As Wayne Dyer points out, Intention is not about competitive kind of focus, neither is it an Ego fear driven Forceful Make it happen kind of thing. Rather, it’s having a clear connection to the source of Intention. We are all connected to it. It’s just the connection sometimes can be clogged and clouded with all of the concerns and fears of the day – producing toxic feelings of dread, fear, worry and anxiety. A clear connection to the source is just feeling God or feeling good from the inside out. This is how one knows that they are connected – by feeling good and feeling good by choice. What else could God produce? Holding this feeling of goodness in heart and using this as a tool of creation produces powerful results. Only, don’t be tied to the results, just “Let go and Let God!” allow the system to work.
